Two ways to delete your account
You can delete your AiESphere account at any time, and you do not need the mobile app to do it.
In the app: open Settings, then Account, then "Delete my account". You will be asked to type your email address to confirm.
On the web: sign in at aiesphere.com and open Settings, then Your data.
Without signing in: email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify that the request comes from you and then schedule the deletion on your behalf. Use this route if you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or no longer have access to your password.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes your profile and the content attached to it, including:
Your name, email address, phone number, profile photo and handle.
Your résumés, work history, education, skills and aspirations.
Your application profile and saved screening answers, including any address, date of birth, work-authorisation and compensation details you stored.
Your job applications and their tracked history.
Your posts, comments, reactions, direct messages and community (sphere) messages.
Your assessment results, skill verifications and learning progress.
Your saved jobs, searches and recommendations.
Any access you granted to third parties, including AI agents connected over MCP and paired browser extensions.
What we are required to keep
Invoices, payments and the tax records attached to them are not deleted. Section 36 of India’s Central Goods and Services Tax Act requires us to retain them, and we cannot make an exception to that.
What we do instead is anonymise you. Your personal details are removed from those records and the financial row is kept pointing at an anonymous identifier, so the accounting history survives without identifying you.
Nothing in this category can be used to contact you, sign in as you, or rebuild your profile.
The 30-day grace period
Deletion is scheduled, not immediate. When you request it, your account is closed straight away and you are signed out everywhere, but the data is not purged for 30 days.
We email you when the request is made, telling you the exact date the purge will happen.
Changing your mind is easy during those 30 days: sign in again, or email us, and the deletion is cancelled with nothing lost. After the 30 days elapse the account is anonymised and it can no longer be restored.
How long the whole process takes
A request made in the app or on the web takes effect immediately and completes 30 days later.
A request made by email is scheduled once we have confirmed it came from you, which we aim to do within 3 business days. The same 30-day window then applies.
Backups are rotated on their own schedule, so a copy of deleted data can persist in an encrypted backup for a short period after the purge. It is not accessible to the product or to our staff, and it is overwritten as the backup ages out.
Deleting some of your data instead
If you do not want to lose the whole account, you have narrower options. You can withdraw consent for the managed apply inbox, disconnect any AI agent or browser extension, turn off automatic capture of screening answers, and edit or remove individual résumés, posts and applications.
You can also request a copy of your data before deleting, from Settings then Your data.
